This combination of plastic HMDPE food grade drum totally enclosed in a 1.2 mm steel drum to UN standard 1A1 has now been achieved. The external two bungs are 100% HMDPE with gasket sealing cannot contact the 1.2 mm steel shield that surrounds the plastic drum. This is one of the most recent breakthroughs for the packaging of essential oils, perfumes, edible food oils, chemicals and honey which can be done at half the cost of the 205 litre stainless steel counterpart.
UN Embossing
Under new UN direction, drums transporting hazardous materials must be UN Embossed. As a standard service, we provide all drums to be supplied embossed with the appropriate markings.
As a cost free service we can include custom embossing along with the standard UN Embossing.
